Madonna Agreement

Madonna University and the Livonia Public Schools in Michigan, the United States, and the Al Massria American Schools in Egypt have reached an agreement to encourage the exchange of students and teachers to promote cultural understanding between the United States and Egypt. All three institutions have been chosen because of their respective commitment to both global education and personal communication which can lead to greater cultural understanding.

Students from Al Massria schools who spend a year in the Livonia Public Schools, Michigan, and, conversely, Livonia students who spend a year at Al Massria Schools, Egypt, will be awarded dual graduation diplomas from both school systems provided the appropriate educational requirements are met.

In addition, students who graduate from Al Massria schools following this same American curriculum can be admitted to Madonna University immediately provided all educational requirements are met.

Representatives of Madonna University and the Livonia Public Schools will, from time to time, in cooperation with the staff of Al Massria Schools, evaluate the curriculum at Al Massria schools to affirm that the curriculum is in line with the Livonia Public Schools curriculum.
